Wow! is it that time again already?  My how the days fly.

What time am I talking about?  Well, after taking a look at my blog, just head on over to the Stamping Ground blog where the lovely Julia has got us all peeking at each others desks & what is on them.  Not just here in the UK - but all over the crafting world.  Have a good nose.

Well today my desk actually has a card on it that I made for a challenge at the weekend - & some new bits & pieces, plus a piece of silk embroidery that I must have done at least 8 - 10 years ago which has come to light through my moving house.

This is my crafting desk (as opposed to my computer desk - I showed them both last week), & since last week I have been able to unearth my little blue drawer unit with most of my unmounted stamps in & many of my packs of cards.  Also one of my 12x12 boxes with papers, & my stamping mat is in the foot-well.  Foot-well - that's a laugh - I can't get my foot/feet in there at the moment.

Here is a close up of the left-hand side of the desk showing some recent purchases.  At the front are 3 Embossalicious embossing folders from Crafters Companion.  They were featured on C&C in Las Vegas.  Also there are some Die'sire cutting dies which I bought just before I moved.  The embossing folder to the right of the dies was a freebie on Papercraft Essentials magazine this month.  So! lots of new things waiting to be used.

Here is a close up of the right-hand side of my desk with the little ribbon embroidery there in the front, along with my paper cutter & its changeable blades.

Right! that is my desk - why not pop over to the Stamping Ground & see what other crafters have been up to.  Just click on the link above.

Thank you for dropping in I hope you enjoyed your visit.

Good heavens another week has just flown by -  where do these days go.

I am another step closer to being able to use my desk - the photo today shows a very tidy desk - so tidy in fact there is no work on it.

So! what is it I am nattering on about - well, there is this lovely lady called Julia who started on her blog the chance to go & take a look at peoples work desk & she chose Wednesday as the day of the week to do this.  It has really caught on as you can see as this is week 216, & lots of us join in. (WOYWW = Whats On Your Workdesk Wednesday).  Why not pop over to Stamping Ground & see what it is all about - in fact - why not join in the fun.

Here is my desk - well 2 desks actually -

this desk will be my stamping & crafting one

this desk will be my computer & embossing one.

I think I showed this photo last week - well the bookcase now just has boxes on it that hold crafting things - the baskets have gone.  Obviously the top of the desk has been cleared because that is the one with my computer on now, & those packing boxes have been emptied & cleared away.  The plastic crates on the desk are now the other side of the room with another six.  They are waiting to be sorted.  There are also some more boxes which are in the other end of the room still to be emptied - but they are gradually going.

At least during this coming week I can start crafting.  So perhaps next Wednesday there may actually be some work on my desk.

I am never moving house again!!!!!!!!

Thank you for visiting my little blog I hope you enjoyed your stay.

Hi everyone
I am back in harness - so to speak.  Haven't been around for a while due to getting married & moving house all within a space of 3 months.

The craft room is still in need of lots of sorting but I couldn't hold out any longer.  So here is my first visit after a long break to WOYWW?

If you have not heard of this then pop over to Stamping Ground  follow the desk happenings in the rubber stamping world.

Here is my desk today;

I can here you saying "it looks a bit messy, but where's the work?".

Well the work is somewhere here

or here

& that is only the bits I have photographed.

My new craft room is a converted garage (into a proper room) - so I think you can imagine the size.

Thank you for popping in to see my desk - do click on the link above & go & see what others have been up to.  I look forward to regular visits once again & bringing you uptodate with my own stamping progress.

'Bye for now.
