I thought I would create a page to give you some background on myself & my crafting history.
My main craft passion is Rubber Stamping which I have been doing properly since 1992 having first discovered it in 1986.
Why call the blog "Ink on my fingers" - because although I love stamping I hate inky fingers. Daft isn't it.
I was introduced to it by Caroline of CaroLines Creative Rubber Stamps. This craft has taken me on a long & fantastic & enjoyable journey. During this time I have moved through starting Rubber Stamping clubs in my area; demonstrating for stamp manufacturers at retail outlets; running workshops at a local craft shop; talks to groups such as the Womens' Institute, & much more.
I have been crafting since a young child always encouraged by my mother. I have over the years created with crochet & knitting (even using items on cards); quilling; teabag folding; encaustic wax art; scrap booking. I am sure I have left something out. Oh yes! - Parchment Craft.
I have also discovered Digital Crafting for which I have created a separate blog.
I look forward to learning & sharing with you.
