One for Guys - challenge

Good afternoon on this beautifully sunny day.

The other day I stumbled on another challenge blog - Fan-tastic Tuesday.  They like to see square & rectangular cards - so when I made a card this morning that was a rectangle (DL in fact) I thought I would join in this challenge.

The background paper & the topper are images from a CD - Jem's Designs - Cardz 4 Men, & unusually I combined stamping & CD work.  There isn't a greeting / sentiment on it at present so that I can add the appropriate one when I actually send it to someone.

I distressed the background paper by tearing it & then using Vintage Photo Distress Ink around the edges.  The sailing ship was stamped with versamark ink & heat embossed with gold EP then layered onto some black card to make it stand out.

Thank you for stopping by my blog - why not pop over to the challenge blog - click on the link at the top - & see what others have created.  Why not join in - it is great fun.
