Less Is More - week 172 - theme flowers

Good afternoon everyone & what a beautiful day it is today.  This lovely sunshine we have had the last week here in North Wales (apart from the thunder storm on Monday) has really brought the flowers alive.  I have a beautiful orange-red rose out in flower in my back garden & lots more buds still to open.

Flower is the theme this week at Less Is More & last week I picked up a rather pretty set of stamps that had flowers & flourishes on so I thought I would use one of those.

I have used a scalloped edge card & this floral flourish from the set (from a company called "My Paper World & they appear to be German).  I stamped the image in Versamark Ink then heat embossed with a pearly gold EP.  The 2 flowers I coloured with my little box of pearlescent watercolour paints.  The "happy birthday" stamp is one of a set of small greetings by "Clearly Besotted Stamps".

Because I have put everything towards the lower edge of the card - when I decided that it is going to be sent to someone I have room to add a ribbon along the top.  But have kept it clean & simple for the challenge.

Thank you for stopping by.  Why not pop over to the challenge blog & see what everyone else has created. Just click on their name further up in this post.
