You've been framed - Tag You're It!

Gosh, two posts in one day!

This post is my entry for the challenge over at Tag You're It which this week is as you can see by the post title - You've been framed".  First the picture then the details;

First I coloured white card with the DTP technique using Distress Ink - Fire Brick Red & another ink pad called Palette which was Yellow.  The yellow softened the red to this nice sunset colour.  The frame is from a set I bought at Hobbycraft & again I haven't kept the packaging.  The kitten with flowers was part of a free set on a magazine.  The sentiment from a set of friend sentiments from MSE.  All the stamping was done with black Versafine & heat embossed with clear EP.  On the bouquet & the kitten I lifted some of the colour by using a damp paintbrush then patting dry with a paper towel. The ribbon was wrapped around the card & a faux bow tied to one side.  This was then layered onto a black card.

Love how you've created your own background, and what a cute stamp! Thanks so much for joining in at TYI this week :)
